This product is way too big for my Kodak M753. I can't keep the lens on the camera lined up with the hole in the case to get a good picture - and that's with it nowhere near water. Didn't even try it under water - I can't take a decent picture above water as it is!



I should have done my research and made sure I was getting the right size for my camera instead of just trusting the Amazon ad.

Ordered this for a trip and it didn't arrive in time (my fault for ordering late), so found a similar item by DiCaPAC at a local store and went and got it. Pricing was about the same. This item comes apart with loose items to keep track off to put the camera in and take it out... the knobs unscrew, you take the front black strip off, you take the bag off the screws, put the camera in, put the bag back on the screws, put the black strip back on, screw the three screws in tight. Pieces can be lost. The DiCaPAC we got is a series of a zipper and then rolling it and securing with velcro and then another velcro; all the pieces are attached. Makes it much easier to put the camera in and take it out again, in my opinion.



The photo quality is impressive with the lens glass. I'm vey happy with the photos I've taken with this bag. We have used both bags since we have two Kodak M1033 cameras in the house. I had used an underwater housing bag from Aquapac in the past which worked, but didn't have the glass lens. What a difference! You can't even tell you're using a bag, the pictures are just like taking on land.



Very happy with being able to use our cameras underwater. There's no problems with accessing any of the camera's controls/buttons. Holding the camera and taking pictures is easy. 30' depth rating is much more than we'll ever need for our snorkeling adventures and the backyard pool.



Would have been a five except for the loose pieces of how the bag is put together. Other than that design flaw (my opinion), it works great and we love it. Trips to the beach are not to be feared now!

I follow the instructions by the book, and it was filled with salty water in seconds after I only used it a few inches deep.

On top of that the case I received, wasn't for the camera model I asked so the camera had plenty of room, though it didn't have nothing to do with the water leak.

I recieved this product about a month ago. I've used it quite a bit and have liked the clear pictures and video it allows me to take under water. There are some draw backs but for the price it is a good puchase. The case more like a bag takes a bit to get the camera in and set straight and closed so you can use all the buttons easily since it's not designed for a specific camera it was bigger than the camera and made it some times difficult to put it into video mode. But it allows for good clear pictures and does the job for a good price most other cases will cost you $100's if you can get one for your exact camera. I'm useing a kodak easy share m1033. Hope this helps

Actually this isn't a review of the product, but of 47th St Photo. I ordered this item and paid extra for expedited delivery as I was going to the Caribbean in a week. Planned activities included snorkeling and cave tubing. The item never arrived and I canceled the order. I found out after I got back that the item was back ordered. They should have told me and I could have gotten it somewhere else! As it was, they sent a tracking number immediately, but UPS said it was never picked up. So.. I got no pictures of parts of my wonderful vacation for fear of ruining my camera.

Took this snorkeling and boating last weekend, and it worked great for my Casio. If you check the manufacturer's website, they have a list of all the cameras that each model case works with. That's how I selected the right one for me. I did the waterproof test in my sink first, and had no problems with leaking during my trip. The only complaints I have are the same ones I read here before buying it: the buttons can be difficult to press through the case, the lens cover sometimes blocks part of the camera lens if it's not lined up right (hard to see in the sun), and in my case, the wrist strap of my camera migrated around the case and got in my way a couple of times. Definitely a great value for the price I paid, though. None of the complaints I had were enough to make me unhappy with my purchase.

I really wanted to be able to take underwater pictures on our family vacation to Hawaii but didn't want to pay $200 for a case but then I came across this and I was unsure about putting my camera in something that was $30 but I was very satisfied with it! It worked perfectly and there were only a few where you could see the black ring in the corner and I was surprised to see that it could pick up sound! I would defiantly recommend this to a friend.





Side note: I bought mine from waterproof camera cases and the shipping was extremely fast(standard shipping) and their website was very helpful to find the right case for my camera.

For the price, it's not a bad accessory, but since I paid over $150 for my Canon PowerShot SD1100IS 8MP Digital Camera with 3x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom (Silver), it was a little flimsy. I expected more protection. It is waterproof, however. Simply open the pouch, insert your camera, so the lens is over the lens cover, squeeze the zip-lock seal, roll the plastic up about an inch or more and Velcro it shut. Then another Velcro patch seals it for extra protection. The camera functions are easy to manipulate through the clear plastic. The only drawback is that there is a chance for humidity in the pouch and it is simply a soft plastic other than the lens cover which is a screw-on hard plastic. For protection of your Canon PowerShot SD1100IS 8MP Digital Camera with 3x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom (Silver), I would recommend the Canon WP-DC22 Waterproof Case for Canon PowerShot SD1100IS Digital Elph, which goes as far as you want for SCUBA and is a hard plastic enclosure for full protection. If you want an inexpensive enclosure for snorkeling, this might work for you.

I took this on a sea kayaking/camping trip in Maine this summer and I have to say that I was truly impressed with the case! Through salt spray and a couple of drops in the water (doesn't float too well, be careful!) the case worked very well! This product works as described, so it gets a few stars for that. You can use yor shuffle underwater- it sounds fine and it doesn't leak. The downside is the controls are fairly cumbersome, and when its not working right, its a hassle to get the thing out of the case to fiddle with it. Also the only headphones it works with are marginal as well. You would be best off to buy a Nano and get the Otterbox if you really planto swim with your iPod.

The only small problem I had was that the black part for the lens creates a black circle when taking pictures. However, I thought it looked really cool. Also, all the instructions are in Japanese, but the case is fairly simple to use. Just unscrew the 3 giant thumb-screws, stick the camera in, put the screws back in, and you're done. It also comes with a small bottle of anti-fog solution.

My camera has been out of production for awhile. This particular model of DiCaPac was a generic fit. I took some photos and they came out fine. And there was not even a hint of any leak.



Let me give you a tip.... Since this was a generic fit for my camera, I could not use the little viewfinder. Part of the lens ring was blocking it. Therefore, I had to use the display on my camera. My camera has a very weak display that can never be seen in bright sunlight. Because of that, I couldn't see what I was aiming at when I was snorkeling. I don't fault the DiCaPac, like I said, my camera is old. I just mention it as something for others in a similar situation to consider. Make sure you buy it from someplaqce that takes returns, then test it out to see if it's going to fit your needs.

I bought this for my Kodak Easy Share camera, which, according to their website, would be compatible. The pack was way to big, camera kept sliding around inside. It was hard to keep the lens lined up, resulting in obstruction in the picture. Because it was too big, the controls were not easy to operate. The lens also covered the viewfinder. Even if it wasn't too big, the plastic is so thick that controls would still be hard to operate. Back to amazon it goes!

I have this product (the WP-500) that I used with my Canon PowerShot A700 and I really liked it. Other than the fact that the lens housing created a halo effect in some of my photos because it did not exactly fit flush against the lens (I learned to pull the housing closer to the lens when photographing to reduce this problem somewhat) it was great for the price and allowed me to take some nice underwater photos. I got a new Canon camera and I ordered the next size up (the WP-510 DiCAPac) because I saw this product bundled with my camera on several camera store web sites. Well it just won't work with the camera. The hard lens housing is at least 1mm too small in diameter and the lens of the camera just won't fit into it. Even though it has an extension for the zoom it doesn't matter if the diameter is too small!
