"Does it's job, a little large for the smaller point-and-shoots" 2009-06-02
By Ashley Z.
I purchased the waterproof case for kayaking trips and the occasional trip to the beach. It definitely does its job; it protects the camera sufficiently. My only complaint is that it is quite large for smaller point-and-shoots. This is the smallest size I could find and my camera (Olympus Stylus 1200) was swimming in it! A smaller size would make reaching the buttons much easier, thus allowing me to get the shot quicker. Overall, a good product that gives me peace of mind when I subject my Olympus to the elements.

 "love the picture" 2009-06-02
By AYP (Irving, TX USA)
I bought this for key west trip and used it when we Snorkel.

I had to zoom in little bit to prevent having black cercle in the screen, but it kept dry all the time, it took very good picture.

I am happy with this product.

"Great for snorkeling, not so great at max depth" 2009-05-13
By P. Nemec
I got this case to take snorkeling and on a resort class scuba dive (maximum of 30 feet). I read other reviews about the camera sliding around and making a ring on the image, so I cut up some wine corks to keep the camera centered. That worked perfectly. The snorkeling shots came out beautifully.

I had a different problem while scuba diving. The deeper you go, the more the case vacuums around the camera. At 15 feet, the buttons were still OK. I exceeded their max rating and took it to about 25 feet. The seal never failed, but the vacuum pressure was so great, once I pressed the shutter button, it wouldn't come back up. I had to turn the camera off and back on to snap another shot.

All in all, the case performed as advertised. All buttons were useable, and the display was not obscured. Even at 25 feet, I had no leaks! I would definitely recommend this case if you are looking for a cheap way to waterproof your camera.

"not bad for the price" 2009-05-01

pretty good deal. caution if you have a very small camera, it will slide around and the edges of the case will show up in your images. also it gets foggy/dirty easily esp if taken to the beach. but overall, it's MUCH cheaper than buying a waterproof digital camera.

"Does the job for a good price" 2009-04-26
By Steve A. Harrast (iowa)
I purchased this as an alternative to the expensive hard cases I also looked at costing over a hundred dollars. I have a nikon coolpix which is about 1.5"x3.0" with a pop out lens, and it fits well in the small case. I took the camera to the pool to try it out, and the images are indistinguishable from pictures taken without the bag. The case is flexible, so the buttons on the camera are activated by pressing through the plastic. This is not a problem for a person with good dexterity, but could cause some frustration for a person who has trouble with small buttons. One small issue is that if the lens of the camera is misaligned with the the black plastic protrusion that accomodates the lens, the image can be slightly occluded. For me it's not a big problem because I'm just having fun, and I'll crop out anything I don't what in the picture.
